A Study on Communication System for Prevention of Bicycle/Pedestrian Accidents

In recent years, vehicle to infrastructure/vehicle (V2X) wireless communication has been developed in order to support safety driving. For the purpose to prevent bicycle or pedestrian accidents, the authors are considering safety support systems using the radio frequency identification (RFID) technology which is small size and low power consumption. In this paper, the authors introduce the developed system configuration and the results of fundamental experiments.
