A Proposal of a Detection Method for Simultaneous Smartphone Operation

Recently, along with the rapid popularization of smart phone, operation of the smartphone while driving, bicycling or walking has been increased rapidly. The gaze of the screen with the operation of the smart phone remarkably is made to lower recognition and attention to the circumferences. This condition becomes a social problem in order to cause important accidents such as fall accidents at train stations, count crashes between pedestrians and bicycles and so on. In this paper, the detection technique of the condition that the smartphone is manipulated with the walking by analysis of the image captured by the camera mounted in the smartphone and real-time detection of the operation condition by multiple sensors is proposed.
