Transport for Canberra: ACT freight strategy discussion paper

The ACT Government aims to achieve an efficient, safe and well-designed freight network that connects people, goods and services. The ACT Freight Strategy discussion paper examines the existing freight policy framework relevant to the ACT, reviews current and future freight trends and issues for the Territory, and proposes strategies to overcome the identified issues. The development of this discussion paper is supported by a number of strategic policies including the National Land Freight Strategy at the national level and Transport for Canberra and the ACT Planning Strategy at the local level. The discussion paper reviews current freight trends and identifies potential issues for the ACT.
