The experimental data presented implies that creating a bubble curtain can reduce or kill wave height thereby producing a breakwater. The experiments presented were achieved with twenty-five foot depth, one foot wave heights and up to forty foot wave lengths. Formulae and predictions for quantity of air required and depth of the air curtain were shown to follow the experimental evidence well enough to lead the author to extrapolate his predictions to other wave lengths.
