GO TRANSIT

A SEMI-TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS PROVIDED OF THE GOVERNMENT OF ONTARIO TRANSIT RAIL COMMUTER SYSTEM, AN EXPERIMENT IN THE USE OF EXISTING RAILWAY LINES FOR RAPID COMMUTER OPERATIONS, IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE RUSH-HOUR STRAIN ON THE MAIN HIGHWAY ARTERIES.
