Mechanical Characteristics Analysis of Cement Concrete Pavement Based on Design Parameter of Base

In order to optimize the base parameters of a road, the effect of base modulus, thickness and interlayer contact status between slab and base upon maximum stress of slab bottom and base bottom, shear stress between slab and base, warping of slab was calculated using Ever finite element (FE) 2.25. The results showed that: (1) the interlayer contact status had great influence on slab stress and warping; and (2) slab bottom stress decreased and slab warping increased while bonding status weakened. Base modulus was the key factor affecting base stress. Base bottom stress increased when its modulus increased, and it would decrease when bonding status weakened. Interlayer shear stress occurred mainly at slab edge, and it would decrease when bonding status weakened.
