Transferability of ICT Solutions for Improving Co-modality in Passenger Transport

The objective of the paper is to present the methodology for the assessment of the transferability potential for ICT (information and communication technologies) solutions identified in COMPASS project (Optimised co-modal passenger transport for reducing carbon emissions, project co-funded by the European Commission within the Seventh Framework Programme) in the context of achieving better co-modality in passenger transport. Within COMPASS eleven case studies are conducted covering different types of ICT solutions applied into different areas all over the Europe. After the identification and detailed analysis of solutions through case studies the next step is the transferability evaluation of the investigated solutions. In this paper the transferability framework developed in COMPASS is presented and a practical example of the analysis is shown.
