Experiences of Dodge and Jeep Owners with Collision Avoidance and Related Technologies

This study looks at driver acceptance of crash avoidance technologies. Owners of Dodge and Jeep vehicles with forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and rear cross path detection were interviewed. The majority of respondents believed the systems had helped prevent a collision and they would want similar technology in their next vehicle. The study also outlines interview response differences by driver age, gender, and duration of ownership.
