YARD SWITCHING WITH MULTIPLE-PASS LOGIC

A mathematical pattern is presented for sorting cars into groups in the railway classification yard, which offers high versatility and use of equipment. For example, in single pass switching, a 40 track yard yields 40 blocks. With multiple-pass switching 40 tracks in two stages of 20 tracks each, recreates 20 x 20 output or 400 blocks.
