Coming out of the clouds

It is, remarkably, a good time to be upbeat about business aviation. Although the sector has suffered more than its commercial airline counterpart in the past six years, there is evidence of a new-found confidence, both in terms of operator sentiment and the fact that airframers are developing so many products. The business aviation industry has always been innovative, but our feature on P32 outlines just how many new types are in flight test, in final stages of design or on the drawing board. We also take a look at the future of the automated cockpit, assess the safety progress of the sector, take a glimpse at cabin innovations and flight test the Beechcraft King Air 350ER.
