Climate Action and Adaptation Plan

This action plan establishes a framework for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) to both reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and prepare for the impacts of climate change. It identifies areas where there is the most opportunity to reduce emissions and evaluates those opportunities based on costs and volume of reduction. The plan concludes that Metro could reduce internal GHG emissions by 0.6% in 2020 using cost effective strategies over the short- and mid-term.
