ROTOCAR MONORAIL: THE FOURTH DIMENSION IN TRANSPORTATION

THE ROTOCAR OFFERS AN IMPROVED DESIGN FOR HIGHSPEED MONORAIL SUSPENSION CARRIAGE AND RUNAWAY ASSEMBLY. THE USE OF CONVENTIONAL HORIZONTAL GUIDE WHEELS OR SIMILAR MECHANICAL DEVICES IS ELIMINATED BY THE ROTOCAR. THE SUSPENDED ANGULAR RUNWAY BOTH VERTICALLY SUPPORTS AND HORIZONTALLY GUIDES THE MONORAIL CARRIAGE. THE DRIVING MECHANISM RIDES ON TOP AND IS GUIDED BY THE ANGULAR RUNWAY, WHILE THE CIRCULAR CAR IS PIVOTALLY SUSPENDED UNDERNEATH AND CRADLED IN CIRCULAR RINGS WHICH ALLOW IT TO RIDE COMFORTABLY LEVEL. THE CIRCULAR CAR IS SUSPENDED WITHIN RINGS AND THE STABILIZATION IS MECHANICALLY CONTROLLED. THIS ENABLES THE SEATS AND FLOOR TO BE AT ALL TIMES PERPENDICULAR TO THE RESULTANT FORCE OF WEIGHT AND CENTRIFUGAL FORCES. THE ROTOCAR REDUCES THE NUMBER OF PARTS NEEDED AND MINIMIZES MAINTENANCE WORK. COSTS ARE REDUCED WHILE THE SAFETY FACTOR IS INCREASED. THE MONORAIL RUNWAY HAS A REPLACEABLE WEARING SURFACE, AND THE CONCRETE BEAMS AND PYLONS ARE NOT SUBJECTED TO INTENSE SALT AND CHEMICAL EROSION. TWO-WAY MONORAIL SYSTEMS FOR ROTOCAR OPERATION CAN BE INSTALLED FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE AND ONE-HALF MILLION DOLLARS PER MILE. SPECIAL CAR DESIGNS WITH EFFICIENT SEAT AND DOOR CONFIGURATIONS MAKE LOADING AND UNLOADING FAST AND EFFORTLESS. THE MONORAIL MAY BE LOCATED 15 TO 50 FEET ABOVE HIGHWAYS, RAIL RIGHT-OF-WAYS, AND CITY THOROUGHFARES.
