Handling consequences of trends in business and service for sustainable town developmet

This project concerns the interaction of business and service with land use planning in towns and cities. The hypothesis is that shopping facilities located in city districts (instead of external shopping malls) can contribute to reduced car dependance and to requirements on sustainable transport system. This solution will be compared with other solutions and their consequences on motor vehicle milage.
