The Collision Analysis Report Form presented here is a shorter version of an earlier form which contained a set of unique, specialized vehicle deformation and injury severity scaling indices derived from the combined recommendations form several different countries. The articles included in this publication are: Investigation Methodology, Use of a Short Report Form, and Conclusions (Italy); Vehicle Deformation Index, Its present Scope Studies Needed for Applications to Research in Highway Safety (France); Draft Status Report of the German Teams (Federal Republic of Germany); A Methodology for Coding Accident Configuration (Sweden); Accident Studies Benefits and Possibilities (Netherlands); Use of the Collision Analysis Report Form and Applications for Injury Data (U.K.); Pre-Crash Tri-Level Methodology for Collision Data Generation (U.S.); Evaluation of Protocol and Project Data (Panel, U.S.); Methodology for Speed Estimation (Panel, U.K.); The Apologetics of an Approach to An International Accident Investigation System (Panel, Netherlands/U.S.).
