The Bimodal System currently under development is an answer to municipal transportation problems of jammed streets with consequently poor service, coupled with rising costs. The Bimodal System aims at improving comfort in the bus, building up the system for existing vehicle and expressway techniques and designing and building a nonpolluting engine fueled with liquified natural gas. It also plans the construction of private rights-of-way, leading to the possibility of electrifying the vehicles and automating driving functions with a guidance system, which would eventually eliminate the driver altogether over special route sections. /Author/
