1974 NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION STUDY: PHASE I--INDIANA STATE PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

The 1974 National Transportation Study is the second in a series of biennial National Transportation Studies undertaken cooperatively by the U.S. Department of Transportation, state and local governments, and the private transportation industry. This report is Phase I of the three phases, multi-work element 1974 study conducted in Northwestern Indiana. The content is divided into six parts as follows: (a) 1974 National Transportation Goals; (b) Lake Porter Region Transportation Issues; (c) 1974 Study Organization; (d) Information Sources and Data Retrieval; (e) Financial and Manpower Requirements; and (f) 1974 Study Issues and Comments.
