SUPERVISORY REMOTE CONTROL IN TRACTION POWER SUPPLY SYSTEMS
FERNWIRKTECHNIK IN DER BAHNSTROMVERSORGUNG
Supervisory remote control is being used on an ever increasing scale in traction power supply systems. It permits safe and economic operation despite increasingly complex systems and labour shortages. The control of larger areas is simplified by electronic supervisory remote control. Compared with electro-mechanical equipment, this offers many advantages, e.g. higher transmission speed, simple maintenance, adaptability and easy replacement of modules. A new electronic unit has been developed for substations operated with master multiple supervisory remote control.
