DIMENSIONING OF FATIGUE-STRESSED WELDED JOINTS IN ALUMINUM
ZUR BEMESSUNG SCHWINGBEANSPRUCTER ALUMINUM- SCHWEISSVERBINDUNGEN
This is a report of an extensive cooperative program of tests on small-scale (about 1 to 10) models of welded light metal superstructures of ships. The purpose was to determine the maximum permissible vibratory stresses for a definite lifetime of different models. Suggestions are made for the design and welded construction of these superstructures.
