REMOVAL OF PRESSED AND FROZEN SNOW AT THE FLANGE WAY OF THE TRACK
For the project of the nation-wide SHIN KANSEN network, the countermeasure against snow along deep snowy lines is important. For example, it arouses anxiety that the pressed and frozen snow formed on the flange way of the track may influence the running stability of the high speed vehicles. The report is concerned with the fundamental tests which were carried out in order to develop the way and apparatus for removing it efficiently.
