World Expo 2010 Public Transport Integration Optimization Research

EXPO 2010 Shanghai as the world's major exhibition, has attracted more than 70 million tourists who come to visit the activity. Good transport organization is an important factor to ensure the success of the Expo. In this paper, the passenger flow prediction and traffic characteristics are analysis. Based on the traffic flow analysis, public transport organization integration is highlighted. To analyze traffic on the Expo, the World Expo 2010 Shanghai concluded the integration of public transport experience for the building of large-scale integration of active transport a few constructive comments. In the end, four implementation advices on public transport integration optimization are proposed based on the successful of Expo 2010 experience.
