BRIDGES BUILT IN DESERT OF PRECAST CONCRETE MEMBERS
The method described is reported to prove more economical in arid territory on Santa Fe where transit-mix concrete is not available. This method consists of precasting all members of the bridge, including pedestals, caps and prestressed concrete spans.
