The Evaluation of WAVE Communication for Seamless Services under High Speed Environment
SMART Highway is a national research and development (R&D), and advanced highway environment where continuous two-way communication (V2X) is possible at high-speed in order to constantly offer variable services to drivers. To implement next-generation traffic information services is a key technology WAVE communications. This study will attempt to verify the performance and SITMS service in a seamless communication environment (V2X). The authors set up indication for evaluation based on the research aim of the current year. Test cases define to affected factor for consideration lanes, vehicle class, driving speed and the authors decide to the number of test times and type. The authors select indications for the basic test average throughput, packet loss rate, coverage, response time, and link access time. The authors develop test methodology for each indication and then have a plan site test.
