Analysis on Dynamic Performance of High-Speed Railway Piers in China

Linear stiffness of several main pier types applied in general bridge of Passenger Dedicated Line and high-speed railway in China are compared in this text. Analysis model for spatial vibration of trains and bridges is established by MSC.PATRAN, MSC.NASTRAN and MSC.ADAMS/RAIL. Vehicle-bridge interaction analysis is executed to the five kinds of control pier type of the bridge which is 10m span continuous 32m box-shaped simply supported beam taking the time-domain track irregularity sample transformed by the low interference spectrums and German ICE3 which is high-speed distributed-power train as system incentive. The lateral acceleration, the vertical acceleration, the derailment coefficient, rate of wheel load reduction and Sperling comfortableness are discussed in this paper.
