Slope Hazards and System Design of Emergency Rescue in Daye Iron Mine
East Open-pit of Daye Iron Mine was divided into eight areas through engineering geologic investigation. The type of rock mass structure, major characteristics of structural plane and the forms of slope failure were analyzed respectively. The authors established the risk evaluation system of high and steep slope in Daye Iron Mine and divided East Open-pit into landslide area, extremely unstable area, unstable area, partial unstable area, stable area and extremely stable area. A set of warning and emergency rescue system of geological hazard for high and steep slope in Daye Iron Mine was developed which includes two parts, one was warning system, and the other was emergency rescue system. The system has achieved the goal of disaster prevention and reduction effectively, and ensured the safety of passengers and mining personnel in National Mine Park.
