A Comprehensive Evaluation of Traffic Demand Management Adaptability on the Basis of Fuzzy Rough Entropy

One problem is urgent to solve that how to test and evaluate the adaptability of urban traffic demand management so as to guide decision making and action taking. On the one hand, there has been a relatively short period of time for comprehensive study concerning traffic demand management in China. Consequently, the means of measurement is not so mature; on the other hand, the traffic demand management system is being improved, difficulty for such evaluation is brought about due to the complexity and particularities of the policy itself. Therefore, it is of great necessity to establish a comparatively comprehensive and complete evaluation index system, so as to make a systematic and overall evaluation of urban traffic demand management adaptability. Base on an analysis of the ultimate goals of urban traffic demand management, the present thesis is to establish an evaluating index system for sustainable urban traffic demand management adaptability. Moreover, a comprehensive evaluation is to be made so as to find out the problems and imperfect points existing throughout the process of applying traffic demand management. Finally, some suggestions and corrective measures are proposed for later decision making of urban traffic demand management.
