A Methodology for Modelling Emergency Evacuation Based on Transit System
This study is conducted to review and evaluate existing emergency evacuation procedures, and to make recommendations for the use of transit system to enhance evacuation efficiency in China. A framework of emergency evacuation based on transit system is presented in this paper. The framework is composed of hazard analysis module, evacuation traffic generation module, evacuation plan module and evacuation implementation module. The methodologies and strategies of each module are also given in detail.
