Parking Space Optimization of Bus Stop Based on Queuing Theory

By analyzing the computational method and influence factors of bus line capacity in this paper, shorting the service time by optimizing the parking space of bus stop was considered as the main channel to improve the bus line capacity. Thus it, the effective parking space which was one of the major quantitative indicators, was analyzed in detail and an optimization model was built by the Queuing Theory. What's more, a further exact evaluation building on the reasonable comprehensive indexes was made using Marginal Analysis. The model was proved correctly and feasibly by a practical example.
