Train Operation Conflict Judging for Chinese High-Speed Railways
Train operation conflict is the key issue that leads to train delay and accidents. Due to the conflicts, the level of railway safety and service quality will not be guaranteed. In this paper, the train operation types are discussed, the judging methods of train operation conflict is given. Based on the study of conflict judging, the need of development of train operation conflict management system is presented and its working principle is described. The study of train operation conflict will contribute to improving the efficiency of train operation adjustment and railway timetabling for Chinese high-speed railways.
