The Design of Highway Pavement Management System Based on COMGIS
With the rapid development of highway, highway maintenance and management are on a crucial period. In order to manage pavement of highway from qualitative analysis to quantitative Analysis, computerized technology must be used to make up for shortage of primary management system. Above all the authors analyze factual requirement about highway maintenance and management system, then design the frame and flow chart of highway maintenance system based on COMGIS. The system consists of spatial database and attribute database, they are connected by dynamic segmentation. The system could process pavement condition evaluation and forecast by model, the system will timely and acute give decision information for highway maintenance and management department.
