SOLUTION OF THE CONTACT PROBLEM FOR A PLATE RESTING ON A WEDGE-SHAPED SUBGRADE /IN RUSSIAN/

A SOLUTION IS PRESENTED OF A CONTACT PROBLEM FOR A PLATE WHICH IS RESTING ON A WEDGE-SHAPED SUBGRADE SUBJECTED TO A VERTICAL LOAD. IT IS ASSUMED THAT NO NORMAL OR TANGENTIAL DISPLACEMENT EXISTS IN RELATION TO THE VERTICAL LOAD AT THE SLOPING EDGE OF THE WEDGE (CONDITION OF TOTAL ADHESION). RESULTS OBTAINED CAN BE USED FOR THE CALCULATION OF CONTINUOUS RIGID FOUNDATIONS. /LCPC/RRL/
