The Framework of ''One Road One Line with Straight Driving'' Public Transportation System

The paper suggests a new mode of public transportation system, called "One Road One Line with Straight Driving", in order to change so many unreasonable aspects in traditional urban public transport system. Based on analyzing the implication and characteristics of "One Road One Line with Straight Driving" mode, this paper establishes the new mode's framework, including adaptability of the new mode, analysis of passenger flow, layout of network and stops, transit signal priority, intelligent public transportation dispatching.
