An Improved Based State with Amendments Spatio-Temporal Data Model in Intelligent Traffic Navigation System

Road information is a kind of significant data source in navigable geo-spatial database, the data model and the storage structure of which are directly related to application efficiency of navigation system. This paper starts with analysis of several common spatio-temporal data models. The authors put forward an improved based state with amendments spatio-temporal data model named as reversely based state with amendments spatio-temporal data model to meet the requirements of fast updating road information in data center. The basic principle is that the road information database of data center based on large server stores road data of current time and changing data of each historical moment. The spatio-temporal data model improves the query speed, is beneficial to updating road data in vehicle mobile terminal, and supports incremental updating of road information but also ensures the accuracy of road information at current time.
