Competitive Mode Choice Behavior between E-Bike and Bike Based on Discrete Choice Model
The research on competitive mode choice behavior between e-bike and bike is useful for the analysis and forecast of traffic mode, non-motor traffic planning and related policy. With the sampling survey data in Kunming, the competitive choice model between e-bike and bike based on discrete choice model is established. The result shows that income, age, and travel time have a great effect on the mode choice behavior between the e-bike and bike. The people in the group with household income below twenty thousand Yuan are more inclined to use the bike. For the people in the group with household income above forty thousand Yuan, e-bike is more competitive than the bike.
