Effect of Hydrographic Features for Safety of Ship Operation Space
Ship operation space is a complex system, which includes terrain, meteorology, ocean water, obstructions, aids to navigation, vessels, monitoring equipment and rule of law. The static hydrographic features of temperature, salinity, density of seawater and the dynamic hydrographic features of current, ocean wave and tide are close and very important to keep the safety of ship operation space. The types of hydrographic features are introduced, the theory of ship operation space modeling is researched, and the effect of hydrographic features for safety of ship operation space is analyzed in this paper.
