Deterioration Analysis of Slab with Slightly Curved Bottom of Frame Arch Bridge
This paper describes the common damage of the slab with slightly curved bottom (SC slab) of the rigid frame arch bridge. In light of the results of finite element stress analysis, deteriorations of SC slab are considered to be caused by the lack of slab thickness and arch frame lateral rigidity. Several preventive measures and maintenance measures are recommended for SC slab, which are validated by finite element analysis.
