Preventive Activities - Campaigns of Road Traffic Safety Agency of the Republic of Serbia

Preventivne aktivnosti - kampanje Agencije za bezbednost saobracaja Republike Srbije

The jurisdiction of the Road Traffic Safety Agency of the Republic of Serbia covers also the task related to preventive and promotional activities and campaigns in road safety. Taking into account the realization of strategic goals in traffic safety, very important is the cooperation between all the subjects in road traffic safety system. Preventive actions and campaigns are important improvement instrument for traffic safety. In order to perform successfully the overall activities within the frame of actions and campaigns at national and local level, the involvement and cooperation of all the relevant institutions are required. This paper presents a number of promotional campaigns conducted by the Road Traffic Safety Agency of the Republic of Serbia, their analysis and finally conclusions are provided in connection with this, with recommendation on how to proceed in this area.
