Analysis of Composite Steel-concrete Columns
This paper presents some results of the analysis of the effects of the second order theory. According to the results of the experiments, which were made on the Department of Concrete Structures and Bridges in Bratislava the authors analyzed the effects of the second order theory. For the theoretical analysis of composite steel concrete columns was made a computational program. It was supplemented by a method for the calculation of the second order moment according to the model of Hanswille and Bergmann. The results of the experiments made by S. Matiasko were compared with theoretical results from the calculation based on non-linear software Atena.
