Diagnostics and Evaluation of Footbridges
Using representative case studies, this paper illustrates the importance of management, maintenance and reconstruction of footbridge structures. Inspection is particularly important for the timely discovery of imperfections with the potential to reduce safety and load carrying capacity. In this paper, four footbridge structures are evaluated.
