Traffic-1, User Tailored Measuring System of Road Traffic Parameters
This paper describes Traffic-1, an innovative new prototype system for road traffic measurement that can be tailored to meet user measurement needs. The system has nine signals conditioning modules, each of which can recognize difference configurations of traffic sensors and activate appropriate data processing algorithms. The authors describe the structure of the system, focusing on the innovations developed through years of research.
