Multimodal, Multiservice, Multichannel Payment and Ticketing within ATTAC Project

The project ATTAC (Attractive Urban Public Transport for Accessible Cities) – financed by the EU South East Europe Programme – includes a Task Force (TF2) whose leader is Marche Region, Italy, dedicated to Smart Ticketing, specifically for analysis and exchange of best practices, realization of a feasibility study and transferability of a multimodal, multichannel and multiservice payment and ticketing system. After two years, the Project defined some best cases in Italy, whose locations were visited by project partners during benchmark visits and is starting the pilot activities in Marche Region. The technical visits led to the idea of realizing an exhaustive study including the use of an integrated mobility and service card within Marche Region, starting from the pioneering experience of Piedmont Region which is developing the regional card of services (BIP project).
