DIE AUTOMATISCHE FAHR-UND BREMSSTEUERUNG DES TRIEBZUGS 420 DER DEUTSCHEN BUNDESBAHN, BAUART AEG
Features of the urban rapid transit system in the metropolitan area of Munich, West Germany are reported. The trains are equipped with modern control circuitry incorporating thyristors. The utilization of speed control equipment relieves the conductor from routine operations. Results of experimental performance are discussed.
