Zero emissions trucks: an overview of state-of-the-art technologies and their potential
This report has been developed to contribute to the discussion on future road freight transport and the role on non-conventional drivetrains. The primary objective of the report is to assess zero emission drivetrain technologies for on-road heavy-duty freight vehicles. More specifically, their CO2 reduction potential, the state of these technologies, their expected costs in case of a technology shift, the role of policies to promote these technologies, and greenhouse reduction scenarios for the European Union have been studied.
