High-speed helper
When it opens in 2015, the Almonte River Bridge in Spain will be the world's longest high-speed railway arch bridge and will carry high-speed trains traveling from Madrid to Extremadura on the Portuguese border. Designing such a bridge is a complex and demanding process; this article shows how software can help.
