Assumptions to the Selective System of Navigational-maneuvering Information Presentation

In the era of emerging technologies in transportation, the authors create a three-dimensional visualization system which virtualizes a real navigation situation of a ship in a restricted area. The system is a part of the branch of eNavigation and is intended as a tool to assist decision making navigation on the ship’s bridge, particularly in berthing maneuvers. This article presents the technical assumptions for the system. Innovative solutions are presented including the ability for multi-territorial virtualization and to preview the actual position of the individual.
