An essay on regional air transportation demand in Brazil

Ensaios sobre a demanda do transporte aéreo regional

The following work aims to present considerations about the regional air transportation demand, based on an introductory econometric approach of quantitative consumption relationships prospection. It was estimated demand parameters related to air fare prices and GDP (Gross Domestic Product), among others variables using historical data of the sector. Several specifications were performed in order to generate knowledge for further works in the topic.
