PLANNING, INVESTIGATION AND DESIGN FOR LARGE BULK CARRIER PORTS
Based on studies and designs for major bulk carrier ports in Australia, the paper outlines some of the important parameters of planning, investigation and design for bulk carrier facilities. Emphasis is given to the practical application of the techniques of operations research and coastal engineering as they control basic planning.
