Road impact assessment of major projects on minor roads
This paper looks at how interaction between a Client, a Consultant, a Road Agency and multiple State and Local agencies was managed during the life of a major Coal Seam Gas (CSG) project in Queensland. The aim of this paper is to discuss some of the techniques undertaken by the various bodies involved in this process and the challenges faced by the various parties. The learnings from this project will be helpful in the consideration and assessment of other major projects to ensure that proponents are able to deliver projects most efficiently for all parties concerned.
