FEV-oriented Applications and Services

Fully Electric Vehicles (FEVs) have made their appearance as a promising solution towards sustainable mobility. Their vast use is expected to contribute significantly against urban air and noise pollution as well as fuel consumption. However, the commercial viability of FEVs depends greatly on battery autonomy and subsequent range capacity. Therefore, a high degree of reliability in terms of energy autonomy and efficiency must be provided to FEV drivers. This paper presents a set of main services and functions offered to the end-user towards the development of an enhanced Driver Assistance System, tailored to the need of green cars’ drivers.
