REINFORCED CONCRETE SHIP HULLS: DESIGN, STRENGTH AND CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY

KORPUSA SUDOV IZ ARMOTSEMENTA: KONSTRUCKTSIYA, PROCHNOST I TEKHNOLOGIYA POSTROYKI

This book is concerned primarily with the physicomechanical properties of shipbuilding reinforced concrete, diagrams and description of basic types of ship structures from this material. Data are presented of experimental studies on the strength of various reinforced concrete ship structures, including test data on the strength of a reinforced-concrete hull of a self-propelled boat. The book also outlines specific features in the technology of building ship hulls of reinforced concrete. Data are cited on various types of reinforced concrete ships obtained in the process of both complex studies and as a result of experimentation with planning, designing, construction, and operation of such boats both in the USSR and abroad. The book is intended for engineers and technicians engaged in reinforced-concrete ship building.
