The key focus areas of Road Safety Communication Campaign (RSCC) by road administrations and authorities are covered in this paper. (RSCC is used here for road safety awareness campaigns through all forms of mass media, including paid media advertisements.) Key focus areas are as follows: road user behavior; types of road safety campaigns; target audiences; campaign media; and campaign evaluation.
